LATE BUS: Leaves at 5:30 on Friday’s - WILL NOT ALTERNATE! Will always drop off Salix first then Hornick/Smithland. Leaves @ 6:00 Monday-Thursday

ATN 8-12 graders: High School Softball Sign-up is in the office. Sign-up will close TODAY at 3:30. Be watching Daily Announcements for information regarding open gym dates/times.
The JH wrestlers showed great improvement last night at Le Mars. The young Rebels went 8-11 on the night vs. tough competition. Jackson Dewald led the team in wins with 3, 2 by pin. Winning 1 match by pin were Derick Gilbert, Brayden Dewald, and Kyler Reynolds. Adding wins for the Rebels were Brayden Gibson and Caleb Drees.
There will be a SENIOR CLASS OFFICER meeting in Mr. Tower’s room on Wednesday Feb 21st at 8:15am
ATTN 5th period high school study hall: Just a reminder, you have FIRST LUNCH every day.
LUNCH REMINDER FOR ALL: All students are to remain in the commons during their lunch period. Students are not allowed in the hallways or lockerrooms during their lunch time. If you are first lunch, you are to report back to your 5th period class at the end of lunchtime.
STATE WRESTLING PEP BUS: Sign up will be in high school office Tuesday morning. Will close Wednesday at 3:30.
Available for all 9-12 grade AND JrH Wrestlers (minimum @25 students required)
Departs THURSDAY at 2:15
Cost to ride: $10 (Due at sign-up)
Gate (payable at Wells Fargo Arena only- no prepays): $10
WHEN Trenton wins Thursday, he will wrestle Friday early afternoon. There will also be a bus available for that session. Bus will depart Friday @10:45am. Cost $10 (bus- payable at sign-up), $10 (gate- payable at Wells Fargo Arena), and minimum 25 students required
National FFA is next week, our chapter would like to invite all 7-12th graders to participate in the week's events. They include:
Dress up days: Each Day we will have a different themed dress up day. All students who are dressed up that day will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
Tuesday: Wear Official FFA Dress or a Westwood Chapter shirt
Wednesday: Dress as your favorite part of agriculture (farmer, animals, bankers, cooks,)
Thursday: Twin Day (find a person to dress up with)
Friday : Boots and Shorts
Each morning there will be 3 FFA emblems hidden somewhere on the HS side, not in classrooms. If you find one of these emblems, return it to Mr. Witten to receive your prize.
Each day during the lunch periods, there will be games for your to play to win prizes.
The senior class will be ordering class t-shirts. Shirts will be royal blue, short-sleeve and are $12 each IF we order at least 36 shirts. Sign up sheet is in the office. Money is due at time of sign up. Deadline: February 16th
