Ed Black Track & Field Day
On May 15th the K-6 grade students enjoyed participating in the 24th Annual Ed Black Track & Field Day. The morning activities included the parade of athletes, the flag presentation by the Cub Scouts, and the Star Spangled Banner was performed by a group of High School Vocal Students. We had 71 students who read above and beyond and earned 100 or more points in our Accelerated Reader Program. These students released balloons before the start of the races. The morning was filled with the K-6 running events. In the afternoon the students participated in the field events, which included the obstacle course, jump rope contest, standing long jump, softball throw, 3 legged race, shoe kick, limbo, soccer kick, and the basektball shoot.
