Westwood JV Top OA-BCIG
The Westwood JV football team continued its winning ways last night with a 36-6 victory over OA-BCIG to improve its overall record to 4-0. Again, the young Rebels turned in a total team effort with everyone contributing to the impressive victory. Highlights for the night included Kody Berg connecting with Braden Dean with three seconds left in the first half on a great pass and catch touchdown to end the half. Lucas Copple returned a second half kick off for a touchdown following the lone Falcon score.
The O-line of Hunter Folsom, Richard Dandurand, Markes Myers, David Munoz, Carter Holzerland, Dalton Craven, Nathan Payne, and Ty Hinrickson continually opened holes in the Falcon defensive line for Dean, Anderson, Copple and Berg to chew up big yards. The Rebels play this Thursday at home against Vermillion. Come out and watch this hard working group of young Rebels compete!
