CONGRATULATIONS to the members of the Ag Impact STATE WINNING PERFORMANCE yesterday at FFA Convention in Ames.

They competed against 11 other teams. The were responsible for creating a presentation that explained the impact agriculture has on the state of Iowa. They made a skit called "Red Carpet" that entailed a reporter interviewing different "products" as they entered an awards show.
A special big THANK YOU, to all the teachers who gave up class time to allow these kids to practice their skit in front of your students. I would try to list them all but, I know I would forget someone.
Mrs Kounkel deserves a HUGE THANK YOU for all the times she was willing to let the kids miss part of her class to go practice for elementary and HS classes.
Another big THANK YOU to Kay for tolerating all the little feathers that have been sprinkled up and down the hallway the last month while the kids practiced.
We took 21 JH and HS students to Ames on Sunday/Monday and they all represented our school and community very well.
