Rebels defeat Warriors by double digits
The Westwood Girls Basketball Team ran their record to 2 - 0 by defeating the Whiting Warriors. Mykenzie Whitiney led the way with 18 points and 6 assists along with Beth Sibenaller adding 12 points. The bench play of Brooklyn Topf, Abby Crawford, Paige Metcalf & Emma Hall contributed with a total of 25 points. The Rebels started out strong by leading after the 1st quarter 18 - 6. They then went on a 20 - 0 scoring run to start the 2nd half and continued to play strong ending the game with the final score of 65 - 20. The Rebels will play at home vs. OA-BCIG this Friday night @ 6:00 which is also JAM THE GYM NIGHT!!!!
