Cross Country Off and Running!
The cross country teams got off to a splashing good start Friday at the Heelan meet. Our guys had to compete with all the city schools for the first time (the girls always do). Tyler Siegfried finished 34th overall, coming in first for us. Brandon Croghan wasn’t too far behind. For Tyler, Brennan Brown, Juan Gomez, Jacob Miller and Natalie Killian; it was their first varsity competition and they did very well. All the runners set goals before they run and ALL beat their goal. Brandon and Kenzi Brinkman were the only ones who had run the course before and they beat last year’s time. Nice start to the season on a soggy course!
