Cross Country runs at Mapleton
It was a hot day to run but the runners competed well. Only three runners had run the course before and all had lowered their time by atleast a minute or more. The other runners attacked it as well. Brandon Croghan was our first finisher. He had cut the most off his last year’s time. Brennan Brown, Tyler Siegfried, Juan Gomez and Jacob Miller were the next finishers establishing their course time. TJ VanMuyden, who had cut 2 minutes from his previous run on this course was next.
Kenzi Brinkman, who cut almost a minute from last year was our top girl finisher. Natalie Killian also put in a gutsy performance. We learned how important hydration is. All levesl of runners will next compete Thur. Oct 2nd at the Marsha Koebernick Invitational in South Sioux City. Gook luck!
